The camera stays fixed, zoomed out to show the stage from afar as players blast away at opponents, pick up power-ups, and use their bionic arm to swing between platforms and avoid falling into pits. The new combat mode can be thought of as four-player combat from a 2D perspective. We ended up getting some hands-on time with the combat mode as well as a glimpse at some of the later areas of the single player mode.
